Founded in 1986 by Judy Gossman and The Redlands Womans Club of Homestead, The
Miss Homestead Pageant has been a successful avenue for helping young, bright
women of the local community to further their education. All over the United States,
local preliminary pageants have provided millions of scholarship money throughout
the years. The uniqueness of the Miss Homestead Pageant is the generous support of
the community. The local businesses donate and sponsor all scholarships awarded to
the contestants. The Miss Homestead Organizations is one of the largest local pageants in
the state of Florida.
